Just curious... Happened to me like five minutes ago while playing kickball with my friend.

Initially, I hadn't wanted to play. Instead, I had been drawing Kuro while flying cause I had been in a good mood. But... I dunno... My friends had wanted to play kickball for a while and they were rushing me so we can go outside before it started to rain. And it just... i just kept thinking about it. Like how you can't rush art and stuff... but what I do isn't art, it's just lines and stuff. If it was art, it'd be in a museum some place and people would pay money just to see it, or I'd at least have a thousand watchers on DA or something but my art isn't worth it... my drawings aren't worth it. Even though my friends are all "omg you draw so well!", they're my friends, they lie to me all the time... that's what friends are for right? Plus, just because I'm above average, doesn't mean I'm the ultimate artist everyone says I am...

I guess that just kind of stuck in my mind because I want to pay for college and do all this stuff with the money I'm supposed to get when I sell my first few paintings and stuff. But that'll never happen so...

Sorry. One of my friends called me emo but I never considered myself that way before. I've gotten close but never cut myself and I don't have the hair and I don't wear black all the time (somethimes but not always) and... and... I dunno...

I wouldn't say I cry for no reason at all. Sometimes I cry when I think about stuff that has a deep meaning for me. Or when things make me really upset.

Right, that's what normally happens to me but yesterday... i just haven't a clue. I couldn't stop either and I just didn't know why, for the life of me... To this day, i'm still confused as to what caused it, and I refuse to accept that I'm emo because I simply don't think I am.

I'm probably a geek becuase I'm smart or a skater because that's what my friends are considered or an other because I otherwise don't fit anywhere...

I sometimes do. I'll just start crying out of nowhere when thinking about something. It's kind of strange for me concidering I never cry. But, Dissy, you are awesome at art. Don't think that just because people don't hang it in a museum that it isn't art. Hell, I'd pay for a picture of Kuro you draw. Everything someone does it art, no matter how other people see it. So long as you like it and take the time to draw it it is art.

But of course, that's my way of thinking. Everyone has their own. -yawns-

So, yes, it's probably art. that you're very right about. Anything you put a oeice of your mind, of yourself into, something you pour all your effort into must be art. it simply cannot be anything else... but that does not make the one who created it an artist. If that were true, then authors, actors, and sports players would be artists as well, which they aren't...

I just can't help but look at my "art" and want to spit on it all. I mean, how the heck am I gonna make it big the way everyone thinks I will when all I ever draw is dogs?
