It was dead quiet and the sky was a bright white color.The snow cover most of the ground and the halfway done buildings and tunnels.Corners,metal poles,metal bords,and some pavement for a street.The apartment was on the otherside of the village and this side had the most undone buildings.It was cold out and a tall man was clear to see.A red long jacket and his hair almost the same color as the snow.A black vest sort of thing was what he wore under the red long jacket and he was cleary visible.
"Well...here we go again.Another rumor of a howling noise coming from the workings sites and tunnels."
His eye were determined looking as he skillfully searched and looked around.Hidden were two pistols that were his favorite play toy,specially for killing wolves.

It was shiney things galore here. Better than the junkyard where the wolf made his home. In his human appearence so as not to attract as much attention as he would as a wolf, Kage happily trotted down the streets. The moon was clear here since not much was done and many a times he would stay the night here in the tunnels and think about the stories of Paradise that drifted about. He may be on the slow side, but he knew things were not right with wolves and humans.
Movement in red caught his eyes and the wolf cocked his head to the side, confusion on his face. Why would someone like that be out here. Snow crunched softly under his feet as he stopped to investigate, part of him hidden in the shadows of a building. Forgetting who he was in the presence of Kage let his human illusion drop, the onyx and tan wolf now clear to see. Taking the smart route, he lifted his tail ad curled it over his back, the peice of metal he had picked up not clamed firmly in his jaws. The scent of metal hung thickly in the air from the buildings and the guns hidden away. Kage could scent gunpower, but wrote it off as a conincidence.

The red figure,Dante heard the sound of footsteps on the streets a decent way away.With it being dead silenced at this time at night,it was easy to hear sounds on the streets.Suddenly the footsteps were no more..nothing.He didn't think a lot about it,but he saw a shadow of someone then it too was gone.His left eye shut slightly,he was thinking and deciding whether or not he should check this out or not.
"Hell.."
He said to himself and went toward the direction he saw the shadow.Instead of going straight there,he curver around and went through different ways to come in front of the shadow.Expert thinking of previous thieves and chasing down other stuff learnt him this move.Instead of run behind whoever it was,he was going to cut them off or come out right behind him.That was Dante..a quick thinker and some even said he thought like a fox or something when it came to this stuff.He didn't run,a casual walking stride.

Ears perked at the sound of moving footsteps heading towards him. Head cocked to the side more, eyes filled with curiosity and confusion. The scent of what appeared to be human filled his nose, overpowering the metalic scent that riddled these lands. The shiney thing, a large peice of metal, dropped into the snow at his paws, part of it falling ontop on his left paw. Head shook slightly. His eyes weren't made for these types of darkness and the wolf couldn't pick out whatever was out there.
Tail wagged slightly though, making him appear as a Huskey lost in the lands and searching for it's owner. It worked quiet well on humans that did not work for the military. Hopefully this guy was one of those people. If not he had a rough time on his paws.

A medium paced wagging tail was clear,hitting some light from the moon that was shinning through the bars and buildings.The closer he got he could tell the figure wasn't human.Dog..wolf..some kind of animal was up ahead.It wasn't very small,but it wasn't the biggest either.He didn't make any quick movements for his pistols yet,he just continued to casually walk towards the dark figure.He cut into a different path and soundlessly stepped onto one of the metal bars that made a shape of a long building in the sky.It wasn't finished fully and this made it easy for him to move around on the metal boards.He couldn't distinguish the animal good yet,but he knew it was a dog of some sort or a wolf.Only problem was he didn't want to shoot at it if their was possibly a child with it,meaning it was a pet.
Time for a nice hunt maybe..He thought.

Tail ceased it's wagging as the sounds sddenly disappeared. Kage was good at lying, even faking a lost dog. Helped him get free food form the humans that he sometimes crossed paths with. Time to try this out again. Lowering his ears and tail, the wolf let a whimer leave his throat, lowering his body to the ground and tossing his head form side to side. Wolves weren't known for barking so that was out of the question along with run around happily and chase his tail which was what Kage was holding himself back form doing so. Reason why, you may ask? A new shiney thing had caught his eye. Still on his belly Kage pulled himself forward into the moonlight. Maybe not the best idea he had ever done but it could help with distinguishing his pelt colors. He had seen a grey wolf turn silver in the moonlight which was that was happening to the black on his fur.
Fall for it!" Kage thought, clenching his eyes shut and keeping his nose and ears perked for any sound that could mean a battle or fight.

A soft whimper could be heard from where Dante was now.He had made his way towards the dog/wolf that awaited him.Stopping,he was now in a good enoguh position to jump on the dog/wolf.The figure moved into the bright moon light and a shiny cut of a brownish fur or red could be seen.It looked a little hurt and scared,but was crawling towards something.The thing it was crawling toawrds was a..a piece of metal?Guess the dog wanted to play and was friendly for the most part.Maybe it was a wolf,but that couldn't be detailed right now.
"Hey there.."
A voice came out from above the dog and Dante jumped down from where he was.He landed with a soft squash in the snow.He didn't much like dogs,but why not play along for the time being and see what happens.Slowly he walked to the metal piece and picked it off the snow,small snow pieces stuck to it.He knelt down in the snow,one knee in the snow and the other perched up.The metal reflected some of the moon lighht that touched it as he slowly reached it out to the dog.
"Here you go.."

With a small yelp of surprise and jumping backwards slightly to still play the lost dog routine, Kage looked up wearily at the human. The metal was being picked up. Oh how Kage hoped he wasn't going to take the metal. Although, his voice seemed convincing, Kage didn't really belive him. Ears were still pinned back against his head, Tail wagging ever so slightly. the metal was being offered to him! Even though, now it held the nasty human scent, it was still a treasure and a nice lookign one to that. It was even better than the one like the moon he had found weeks ago! Ears perked slight;y and tail wagged more faster now. Kage lifted his body from the ground slightly, bringing his nose to the metal.
Sniffing slightly, even though he already knew what it was, Kage opened his jaws and took the metal in them, tugging slightly to get it form the human's grip. Grinning a doggy grin Kage sniffed his hand before bounding backwards and spinning around in the snow, sli[[ing slightly yet regaining his posture, dropping down onto his front paws in a play crouch, tail wagging. Attempting to let out a bark, it came out more like a squeak mixed with a yelp.

Grinning slightly,he watched as the dog tugged for possession of the metal piece.The dog jumped back and slid in the snow,leaving a dent in the snow.Footprints were left from the dog in the snow.Playful..that's how he acted.Dante stood up and wiped off some of the snow from his leg and folded his arms.Playing with this dog..he hadn't petted a dog ever since his dad was killed ficiously by a wolf.His look became grim and he frowned slightly,his eyes dull and looked like they were looking right through the dog.
"Dad....."
"Dad..!"
In his head was a picture and the shouts for his dad from Cain as their dad layed lifeless and torn on the ground.The memory and flashback of what happeded faded and he was now back i nthe present time,still looking right at the dog.His grin crept back on his lips and he grabbed the piece of metal and wagged it around in the air.
"Wanna play feth dog..?"
He asked softly and he tossed the metal in the air,past the dog but not far.

Kage watched with the same silly grin on his face as the man stood and wiped off his pants. But something changed in his demeanor. Eyes seemed to be lost, gaze not directed at one thing imparticular even though he was staring at him. The wolf cocked his head to the side and sat down in the coldness. He let his tail fall behind him. Smile returned though as he seemed to snap back into reality. Tail picked up wagging and Kage leaped to his paws as the man picked up the metal.
Spinnging around, Kage slipped again in the snow. There must have been ice under the layer of snow otherwise this probably wouldn't be happening. He picked up a jawful of snow and the metal, the frozen water melting in his mouth.

Closely watching the dog fetch the piece of metal in the snow he wondered back in th past for a moment.The face of the dog snapping his large fangs into his dad's neck,blood seeping down and staining his cloths.His eyes..they were golden brown and Dante looked straight into them.It was like time slowed as him and the dog/wolf caught eyes.Before he knew it the dog ran off.Coming back to the present again he relized once more how he hated all dogs or wolves.Maybe this dog was really a dog,but it could be a wolf also and he wasn't letting him go.
"Sorry dog..but you have to die.."
His right and left hand crossed each other as they reached underneath his red coat,grabbing to pistols.He held them and pointed them at the dog,he was pretty good with this guns and rarely missed with them.

Kage dropped the peice of metal as he heard the sounds of guns being drawn. Snapping his head and body around the wolf was almost litterally frozen with fear. He had seen guns before, sure, but they still scared the shit out of him and now here they were being directed at him and more in likely, they were loaded as well. Tail curled close to under his legs, muscles tense and eyes focused on the weapons of mass destruction.
